8 Jul 2005 - NCSA BBQ
I would like to thank everyone who came along to the BBQ last Friday and helped to make it such an enjoyable evening. Whilst it is unfair to pick out individuals I think the guys doing the cooking, Craig, Tom and Paul, did an excellent job and ensured that nobody went hungry.
The BBQ was a way of celebrating the children's achievements, the school's continuing success and a way for us all to meet the governors and each other. We were pleased to welcome not only current pupils and their families but past and future pupils plus teachers, governors, parish councillors and friends of the school. It was possible due to the fund raising efforts of the NCSA during the year. I would therefore like to thank the small group of parents, Linda, Julia, Belinda, Dawn and Sam, who turn up to the meetings each month and support me, the other parents who provide support through giving up their time and everyone else who has supported our events, bought raffle tickets and given donations.
This has been a successful year for the NCSA and the school has received much as a result but we hope to do even more next year.
To make this possible we need your help. Whether you can come to the meetings, which are held in school at 3pm, give some time or contribute in some other way, your involvement would be very welcome. Give me a ring, catch one of us at the school gate or come along to a meeting.
