16 Oct 2007 - Literacy Curriculum Evening

 Parents are invited to our literacy curriculum evening on Tuesday.

These evenings are designed for the children to show their parents what they have been learning aout in a particular subject area. This term we shall focus on Literacy and the work that has been started in Term 1.

It gives parents a chance to look at the activities across the year groups so that they can find out about, for example, Jollu Phonics, Letters and sounds and comic strip writing.

Children will also help parents to identify their own learning styles in order to access future learning more readily.

So come along between 5pm and 7pm  and see how comic strips are made up, how to improve their style and impact or how to recognise sounds in reading.
